Miscellaneous stuff

I’m way behind on things to wrote about so to shorthand things a bit I thought I’d do a selection of snaps with a very few words to give a flavour of some of the stuff that’s happened over the last few days…

Passing the Cotton Club on the way to Fairway Market..

Obvious place to locate an urban garden centre – under the elevated railway…

Fab original entrance to a local fire station…

Believe it or not this is a tailor’s/barber’s shop window (it could be western Ireland)…

Love the name of this pooch groomers…

Now for something cool; little Eliott in Central Park shades an’ all…

And acting it…

Noah strutting his stuff in CP…

Guess which ferry we caught earlier…

Cliched view of Manhattan and the new WTC tower…

Our ferry back to Manhattan…

A disturbing street lecture from the members of the Israelite School of UPK. I don’t know who they are but they have some grim views…

Back to niceness; wedding in the concourse of Grand Central (why not?)…

And an historic glass panel in the rail merchandise store (which had a fab black/white photo exhibition of the Eastern elevated line being taken down). Can you imagine something so cool in Euston station? Anyway it’s from 125th st station – our local…

One of my favourite iconic images of NY; water towers…

Finally my little gardening buddies, love ’em…

More words to follow in the next posting – bet you can’t wait!
